Most recently, Dorit has become passionately involved in counseling, supporting, and advocating for homeless youth as a board member and volunteer at Safe Place for Youth in Los Angeles.

Dorit received her bachelor's degree from Western Connecticut State University and her master's degree from Antioch University.
